SUPER convenient to both major hospitals, airport, seaport and rail station!!! Our place is casual and comfy. Nothing stuffy, just a place to relax and kick back while you enjoy all that Portland and the Maine coast have to offer. We take pride in keeping our space super clean so you can relax and enjoy your time away from home. It's a classic New England triple decker with some wonky floors and lots of character where you can live like a local! You can expect crisp, fresh linens and towels, a simply outfitted kitchen space for preparing meals and comfy beds for your enjoyment! There is a television in the living room which has access to both Hulu & Netflix as well as cards and games for your entertainment. You have the entire apartment to yourself. Private entrance and egress. Locked doors with NO SHARED SPACE. We had to change the “entire place” designation to avoid Airbnb’s Halloween Community policy. We wish we could be here to meet and welcome every guest, but sadly we cannot. We will give you VERY clear instructions so you can confidently check in and are ALWAYS available with a seconds notice by Airbnb messenger, phone or text 24 hours a day!!! This is a quiet, artsy enclave of the West End which is kind of an anomaly. You are a Stone's Throw from Casco Bay and the heart of the Old Port while you are TOTALLY sheltered from the noise of that hustle and bustle. Experience what it's like to live like a Portlander. Our neighbors work and play here and will always greet you with a smile. Portland is SUPER Uber friendly. There are bus routes which run along adjacent Danforth Street. PARKING: There is always AMPLE on street parking in our sleepy neighborhood however, we caution you to READ parking signs. Please park respectfully! Tuesday evenings are trash pick up days that impact the side of the street where you can park without fines! Also, winter parking bans in inclement weather require you to park at the municipal lots or a parking garage. Winter Parking Ban information can be monitored at the City of Portland website, and I provide detailed instructions to help winter travelers stay ahead of the weather!
